Terms of use

The terms that apply when using teeline.co.uk and its learning resources.

Last updated: 24 July 2026

These terms apply to use of teeline.co.uk. The site is operated by Protheorem Ltd, company number 12812092, trading through the Professional Teeline brand.

Using the site

You may use the site and its free resources for your own lawful, personal learning and practice. You must not misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation or use it to distribute harmful material.

Our material

Unless stated otherwise, the site’s text, design, exercises, Teeline outlines, recordings, downloads and other original material belong to Protheorem Ltd or are used with permission. You may print or save material where the site expressly allows it for your own study.

You may not republish, sell, upload, systematically extract, reproduce in bulk, train an artificial-intelligence system on, or create a competing resource from our material without written permission. Ordinary links to public pages are welcome.

Free tools and challenges

Timers, daily challenges and other tools are provided for practice. Device performance, browser restrictions and interruptions may affect timing or audio. They are not examination systems and do not certify a learner’s speed, accuracy or qualification.

Independent status and learning information

Professional Teeline is an independent learning and publishing project operated by Protheorem Ltd. It is not the NCTJ, is not an official NCTJ website and does not claim endorsement by the NCTJ.

The site provides Teeline teaching, explanation and practice material. Learners may encounter legitimate outline variations depending on context, teaching tradition and the principles already learned. Level-specific material should be used alongside the stated course or book sequence.

Completing an exercise or using a particular timer speed does not by itself demonstrate examination-standard speed or accuracy and does not confer a qualification.

Accuracy and availability

We take reasonable care over Professional Teeline material and correct confirmed errors. The site may nevertheless contain occasional mistakes or become unavailable while it is updated. We do not promise uninterrupted access or that every resource will remain available indefinitely.

Website tools may also be affected by browsers, devices, audio permissions, internet connections or maintenance. A website timer should not be used as the sole timing method for a formal assessment.

External services and links

The site may link to Amazon and other external services. Their websites, sales, accounts and content are governed by their own terms. A link does not make us responsible for an external service.

Purchases, cancellations and refunds

teeline.co.uk does not currently take direct payment or sell courses, memberships, physical goods or digital content through its own checkout.

When you follow a link from this site and buy through Amazon, the order, payment, delivery, cancellation and return are handled under the terms shown by Amazon and the seller at checkout. Please use the order-support route in your Amazon account for a purchase made there.

Before Professional Teeline begins selling directly, these terms will be expanded to cover the particular goods, digital content, courses or memberships offered. The applicable price, delivery or access arrangements, cancellation rights, refund process and any lawful exceptions will be provided before an order is placed.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, for business losses arising from personal use, or for loss caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms when the site or law changes. English law governs these terms, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you have as a consumer elsewhere in the UK.
