Professional Teeline

Privacy policy

How we use and protect personal information.

Last updated: 24 July 2026

This policy applies to teeline.co.uk and Professional Teeline services operated by Protheorem Ltd. Protheorem Ltd is the controller of the personal information described here.

Who we are

Professional Teeline is a brand of Protheorem Ltd, company number 12812092. Our registered office is 43 Lower Burlington Road, Portishead, Bristol, Somerset, BS20 7BP. You can contact us about privacy at hello@teeline.co.uk.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

  • your name and email address when you choose to sign up;
  • the communications, challenge reminders and delivery preferences you select, including a preferred reminder time;
  • information you provide when contacting us;
  • technical and usage information, such as IP address, device or browser information, pages visited and interactions with our emails or website, where the relevant technology is enabled; and
  • consent records, unsubscribe requests and other information needed to respect your choices.

At launch, the site does not create paid learner accounts or process purchases directly. This policy will be updated before those facilities are introduced.

How and why we use it

  • Sign-ups and reminders: to send material you have requested, relying on your consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time.
  • Enquiries: to answer and manage your message, relying on our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us and, where relevant, taking steps at your request before a contract.
  • Website operation and security: to run, protect and diagnose the site, relying on our legitimate interests and any applicable legal obligations.
  • Analytics and tracking: to understand use of the site and improve it. We will use consent where required, or the applicable statistical-purpose exception only where its conditions are met and an easy objection is provided.
  • Records and compliance: to keep evidence of consent, objections and unsubscribe requests, relying on legitimate interests and legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information.

GreenRope and other recipients

GreenRope hosts the new website’s forms, CRM, email functions and website tracking for us. Information submitted through those forms is stored and processed in GreenRope. We may also use carefully selected providers for website hosting, email, IT support and professional advice. Each receives only the information needed for its role.

Book purchases made through Amazon are handled by Amazon under Amazon’s own privacy information. Following an external link does not give us the personal information you provide to that service.

International transfers

Some service providers, including GreenRope, may process information outside the UK. Before launch, we will verify and document the lawful safeguard used for any restricted transfer, such as UK adequacy regulations or approved contractual safeguards. We will not rely on an outdated transfer mechanism.

How long we keep information

We keep sign-up information while you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we may retain the minimum information needed on a suppression record so that we do not contact you again by mistake. Enquiry records are normally kept only as long as needed to deal with the matter and any reasonable follow-up, unless a longer period is required for legal, accounting or contractual reasons. Consent and compliance records may be retained while they remain necessary to demonstrate your choices.

Your rights

Subject to the circumstances and exemptions in data-protection law, you may have rights to access, correct or erase your information; restrict or object to its use; receive certain information in a portable form; and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise a right, email hello@teeline.co.uk. We may need to verify your identity.

You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to address the problem first.

Cookies and similar technologies

Our cookie policy explains the storage and access technologies used on the site and the choices available to you. Non-exempt tracking will not be activated before the required choice has been obtained.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the site, our services or the law changes. The latest version will always appear here with its revision date.
